Sunny Sunday ride out !
The sun shone and no rain, Calne through to Radstock, via Bath and back along the A4. Who said you have to put your bike away in winter. It was fantastic weather and fun .... apart from the prat on the BMW nobly thingy thought I was some sort of target and nearly took me out... muppet !!!
Ok it took an hour of jet washing, shampooing and lubing ...... but fantastic !!

Nice, winter riding can be really good, if the suns out and the roads dry even better :)

I was out on Sunday and managed to scrub off the chicken strips that found their way onto my tyres
Best bit about winter riding is the lack of flies

I was out briefly on Sunday after fixing it, I rode over a strange thing - I think we used to call them dry-roads....?

I was tempted... but mot ran out... sorted now though!

We went to Weston via Cheddar for ice-cream and beer....free grub at Scallys so had that ;) Quite a few people there. Roads ok and wasn't cold.

I've been out for a 'quick spin' the last few weekends since the weather has been kind and its not rained much, but last weekend I had to go down to Plymouth in the car for a friends event (Plymouth is an AWFUL city to drive in, packed full of speed cameras, bus-only lanes, one-way systems, there's nowhere to park etc) so unfortunately missed out on riding last weekend. Looked like a pretty good day for it though! Saw quite a few bikes on the journey home though!
Fingers crossed next weekend is sunny and I can get back out on the bike.
I'm looking forward to the warmer weather so I can start commuting to work again :D
