Pottered down to Clevedon yesterday, saw brother for first time since mid-Jan.

Took the short cut through Corston, Burnett, High Littleton, A 368, Little Stoke, Winford, Dundry (scene of the smash) then new road, Long Ashton by pass and Nailsea.

Chicky and I hit West Bay today - certainly was scorchio! They could do with a place to store gear and helmets (like the Riders for Health bus at big race meetings) - they’d make a heap of money when it’s busy. A lot of riders left jackets and lids on their bikes in the parking area - just a bit too much of a leap of faith for my liking. Went down via Sherbourne to Dorch and came home via Blandford - much more traffic on the return journey. It was fairly busy there, but nothing like as bad as it’s been in the Bournemouth area the last two days. Seems like the public at large have taken leave of their senses.
