Managed to ride in to work this afternoon, had to ditch the bike at work and get a lift home in a 4X4. It's bad out there we saw 4 cars crash (separately) on the A303 between Andover and Parkhouse turn off.

I seen a nutcase out today too.

On a road bike.

You’d have a chance on a traily with some half decent nobblys on.

Maybe :p

Wish I had an open fire instead of the horrible storage heaters, an open fire makes you feel warm just by looking at it. Boilers are evil little buggers, they always break at the worst possible time, its intentional on there part im sure, just like clutch cables always break in town traffic.

went into work last night 20 mins from Bowerhill to Corsham, 2 hours later told to go home!!! 2 attempts to get up the hill at Gastard round the Harp and Crown, 75 mins later via Chequers A4 and Lacock bypass got home. friend of ours rode to Salisbury for a funeral on way back dropped his bandit twice, gave up and left the bike there.

Sod riding a bike in this. Iv just been into pewsey in my 4x4 and the roads are atrocious and in places down to half a lane. It was an emergency trip so its ok (fancied a chicken kabab for tea) 😁

"The flapping bike cover is keeping me awake." A bit more anaesthetic of an evening ? :)
