Was having no end of trouble trying to plan a new ride yesterday. Horrid junctions, loads of difficult sections to remember (and ride). Nothing seemed to work.
Went to bed.
Woke up in the middle of the night, grabbed my newspaper crossword (in the dark) and scribbled on it.
This morning when I got back to planning afresh, it was still a dogs dinner. Second coffee and I remembered the crossword. Went to get it and in spidery capital letters it said 'other way'.
Today I completed the Beta version of the ride in the opposite direction. No problem.
