Before anyone gets all offended, bear in mind the Nazis were hell bent on sporting domination as well a domination of less pleasant type. Incidentally George Meier was an ISDT rider with only 2 years circuit racing when he won the TT in 1939 and the swastika flew on flag poles on British soil (was also a driver for Auto Union - Mr Dunlop has some way to go!)
