I have been asked if I knew of a local bike testing station. Here it is.

Wayside Garage
Etchilhampton
Devizes
Tel: 01380 860272
Fax 01380 860990

I called in and spoke to them, they where very helpfull, with a very well equiped work shop, I have not had work done there yet, but will in the future, does anyone know of them or had work done?

Thanks Blurbiker247 - if anyone knows of an MOT station closer to Marlborough or Andover, please let me know, otherwise I will be off to Devizes in the next week or so.

Another option is superbike surgery, they come to you in a very well equiped van. Jim does all of my major servicing and will stamp your service books too.

They are more than happy to have you stand over them asking loads of questions while they work.
They also work out cheaper than main dealers too.

How local are these guys to Swindon? because I like the idea of being able to watch as they do the work, hopefully learn something.

Hi zebedee,
I think they mainly work the M5 corridor altho they do travel around a bit. Take a gander at the web site. They are more than happy for you to watch and ask questions but they charge more if you help!! :-?

That's because I would screw the bike up if I helped so they'd have to mop up the mess I was making.

Rough cost of a service?
