I'm extremely vain when it comes to my jacket.... (You wouldn't have guessed!)

What leather treatments can you recommend?

Well having horses as well as bikes i use saddle soap and neatsfoot oil, a good rule to go by is use organic to treat organic and mineral to treat mineral as in don't use synthetic oil to treat leathers which are organic however, neatsfoot oil does darken leather slightly so you wouldn't use it on your jacket unless it was ok with you for that to happen.

another good one is Nikwax or Urad - which gives a lovely leather smell is excellent (www.urad.com)

take care

Agree with HC8....Nikwax is brilliant , wicked stuff to apply... but for its waterproofing qualities its excellent. (Apparently some authority tried to ban it)

Found out about this yrs ago... as broth is in Camping outdoors leisure industry. Basically for anything leather thats going to get exposed to the elements.
