My Father inlaw took his Pan St1300 out at the weekend and rode off down to exeter for a blast, while he was down there he was going round a corner that had loose stones on it, he slipped and dropped the bike and it slid for some time. :-[
He now has a bugged Panier and the front fairing is a little lost for paint and the rubber bung that is stuck to the side of the fairing is nearly as flat as a pancake. :(

Can anybody recomend somewhere he can get cheap parts (I might try and get off of e-bay or such for him as computers and George dont mix), he has used David Silvers before and so have I and they are very good on price.

Also Should George go through the insurance and try and get cash out of the council for having a dodgy road???

You could try Ebley Honda in Stroud as they are a Honda bike breakers.

Unless you have photographic evidence for the state of the road and it has already been reported (how you would find out from the council is anyones guess) then you might have a claim, otherwise they tend not to pay up.
