the suspension on the tt is a lot stiffer than the bandit...which I guess is to be expected due to it being a different sort of bike, however on my ride on sunday my ass left the seat on a number of occasions when going over bumps on normal A roads :P

is it worth having the suspension properly set up for normal road riding, or shall I adjust it myself? Or is ass-leaving-the-seat good? :P

Get the bike to MH racing in Corsham Mark is really good and will set it up for your weight riding styles etc. Dont forget if you have it set up for road it will be different for race set up!!
Mark Hammond MH Racing - 01225 811583 costs about £25

have a search on the net for "static sag"and "race sag" settings, much easier to do than you think, and much more gratifying than paying someone else...but then again im "cautious" with my money :-)

I find that making the rear softer encourages the shock to work properly and soak up the bumps as opposed to going hard which exagerates the bumps. Hard is great for a nicely finished, smooth track but not much cop on the road.
