Just curious as I love my music and am always looking for better players

On my Linux computers I use Amarok http://amarok.kde.org/

And on my windows computers I use Quintessential player http://www.quinnware.com/

Most of my music is in ogg format http://www.vorbis.com/ not mp3 or wma, as all my CD’s have been ripped on Linux.

I use an iriver mp3 player as it supports the ogg format

Download most of my music from http://sharez.cn/ (to decide if the CD’s are worth buying) its mainly complete albums on this site.

For me, I have an iriver MP3 player also which is used in the car, on the bike (via the Autocom) and in the gym. I used to have most of my music in Ogg Vorbis as well, but with the onset of the Xbox 360 I wasn't able to stream .ogg files to it and therefore had to convert all of my collection to MP3.

On the home PC I use WMP11 as it's fine for what I need it for, and with the integration between it and the 360 I've no reason to look elsewhere. I used to use WinAmp but I don't really tend to use this now because of the WMP11/360 integration. It's great being able to play a game on the Xbox and have your own music playing through the surround sound system at the same time (I know, albeit in stereo, but it's better than listening to the in game music! ;))! ;D

As i've got an Ipod i've got itunes installed but only use it for updating Ipod and when i want to use the party shuffle option, obviously Windows Media Player is installed but I hate it, So is Winamp i like it but find the play lists fiddly
and I use Realone to listen to Radio 2 etc. i've got a MP3 rip software and that can rip to a few different formats including OGG but i don't know enough about it to use it

Listen to my ipod everywhere! Car, bike, home. Mainly using the ipod itself or iTunes/WMP.

iRiver H140 here. Being a Linux man all my music is in .ogg format as well.

Just finished re-jigging the autocom, and if works well on the bike.

i use iTunes on PC and mac and iPod when im on the move. I personally dont think that any of the other software i have used can handle songs and albums as well as iTunes can.

Im old skool! I have an mp3 player but I rarely use it. Senior Management has 1 as well that she uses to drown out my snoring at night especially if Ive had a long day and a few beers in the evening!

I listern to ALOT of radio tho either at home, in the car, or at work (via a mini FM personal radio), and its not Radio 1 or GWR, Im listern to (take part on) BBC Radio Wiltshire & BBC Radio Bristol.

I said I was Old Skool.... perhaps that should of been Old Fart!!!! :-/
