i was considering employment "in a sandy area" repairing "Kings trailers" (army equipment) in 2004, it paid £500 a day......except the personal insurance policy that id have to have taken out was about £400 a day!hahaha......didnt go there in the end :-)

Aye, it turns out it's not as lucrative as it first seems, especially if you can't get a full tax year out of it!

Free board and lodge, free food, sunshine and being paid for it ? You must be mad turning it down :)

Theres a lot of good working going over there but like JD says you have to land the right one and not be paying through nose for your medical cover.

Ouch yeah fair one I'd have turned it down flat too bloody meat headed morons.... Wouldnt be too bad if it was on a brit establishment but the Yanks are so anally retententive that you'd wish you had a side arm to take part in one of their favourite past times.... fratricide ;D
