There's a bloke in Melkshaml that doesn't take his down. He even appears on the news as his house is pretty much a tourist attraction.

Ours will go up when Kaz says so... Bah humbug (Hizzy) there's a few streets in Westbury that go for the US style of house decoration and OMFG its tacky... I dread to think what their electric bill is for December as they really brighten the street/estate up

My grandkids love the "tacky" lights, weren't too many in Westbury last year but Melksham was a winner

I was going to head to my parents for the turning on of the Stafford lights but I shalln't bother now :)

One of the side streets near Campion Road/Close whatever has a few god awful brightly lit houses Bob, we ran past it most nights using it as a beacon on foggy nights ;D

Mine aren't even coming out of the loft space until december and they're not going up until 12 days before and then coming down 12 days after!!

Head for Longford Road Melksham in December....It's all put up for charity so brilliant evening ride or drive.

I didn't notice them on Friday when I drove past but no doubt I would have because it was pretty late at night.

I thought I never saw them but I wasn't really paying attention because it was near where I had my accident and I was keeping my eye out for crazy women drivers :D

it seems half the houses in calne go ott,but thats there choice,do find it distracting sometimes when on the bike..our decs and tree go up in dec,mainly for my son luke's benefit..but it is enjoyable :) :)
