Ducati 848

Went up to On Yer Bike today with a m8, took out the 848 for a spin... reckon end up with battered Nuts as the way the bike is race positioned (so I am told) you have no choice but to Fck the tank. Mirrors on the road are occasionally handy on the Duc they're waste of time!

Apart from that it handles well and its a stonking V -Twin power delivery (front lifts without any provoking) bit vibey as to be expected & looks the Dog's Bollocks... Fortunately it did absolutely nothing for me...So I'll stick to my Jap Crap! :D :D

In saying that its well worth a test ride... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

So does that make the GIXXER 600 a pooor mans 1000 or a ZX 6 a poor mans ZX10? All Ducati have done is make a mid range model, only where as in the past the 748/749 wasn't quite up to matching the IL4's the 848 has that ability.

The 848 r or s i think it is, looks amazing in white, they have quite a few deals going around at the moment on the 848/1098/1198 only thing is i dont think i could part with my 916 to get 1 :(
