500 Internal Server Errors

A number of people have commented that we seem to be getting more and more server errors while browsing the site lately. This is due to us using a LOT of bandwidth - 43GB in the last month

To try to improve things I'm going to be upgrading our web server to include load balancing this week, and we'll see how that goes. This is all paid for through donations to the website, so a huge thanks to those who have donated!

Dont waste your money, 43G isnt a lot for a sql server, fasthosts are known to throttle their servers tell them to sort it or change to a more reliable company. Sx

we don't run on sql, the forum software uses its own database. We host about 500 sites with fasthosts and WB is by far the busiest..I'll give them a bell and see what they're gonna do about it. We have a load of co-located servers that I can move us on to if needs be but that's a faff :P
