On my way home from college today, i saw a biker that had pulled in to one of the junctions on the way from Trowbridge to Westbury, so i stuck my thumb up to see if he was ok?, he waved me down and i pulled in to see why he'd waved me down. I then pulled in spoke to him, he had a rear wheel puncture, and had left his phone at home so he couldn't make a phone call, so i lend him mine and he soon had the pick up truck and his wife on the way to collect him. I then waited with him until his wife showed up.

Hope you got ok Richard, and that you get the puncture, and rear hugger replaced.

Excellent! ;)

I had a fellow biker stop & assist me when the Benelli broke down. This was years ago in the days before mobile phones :P Took me to a phone box to ring the AA and then took me back to the bike as near as he could considering it was a dual carraigeway. I always try and check stopped bikers to see if they need help since. :)

Ooh! That's reminded me of something!!! I have a cunning plan.....

PS. If he turns up on here, point him in my direction for a Puncturesafe installation!

Wish there were more like you. The side of the road is a dangerous place.
Last year I changed 2 wheels for 2 female drivers, jump-started a young surf dude and pushed an old geezers focus out of the oncoming traffic, phoned his wife and the AA. I was by no means the first to see them either. I'm a big believer in Karma (not the nightclub in Chippenham) but alas when I broke down on the fosseway 10 bikes and umpteen cars passed by without a sideways glance.

Oh yeah, my Dad and I also gave a woman in a mobility scooter a push in upavon when she ran out of juice. Those things are heavy!

Nice one Rob :) I'd like to think that if I broke down someone would stop and at least ask if I was ok :-/
