Gotta puncture due to 3 inch metal piece. Didn't know what it was as appeared from under a car I was following and didn't go down until 2 miles later ::)

Anyway as it was an Avon Storm Ultra took it into Missens at noon [they shut at 12.30 on Weds] and got a new tyre fitted...cost £15 with the tube. The puncture warranty is only valid in the first mm of use but even so can't complain as it wasn't them that chucked the metal in the road.

So thumbs up for that 8-)

One advantage of tubed tyres, punctures are cheap to fix!!

.... but they can deflate far more quickly than a tubeless tyre, which can leave you with a lot more to fix than just a puncture... :-/ :'( :o
