Right as Don currently has cash burning a hole in his pocket and is on the lookout for his 1st trackbike maybe the WB crew could help him spend his dosh...........

So this maybe suitable as your 1st trackbike Don and its within your budget and not too far away to go look at either

You trying to traumatise the poor boy Si? :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D

A 600 is a more gentle introduction to track riding. Prior to getting my track 10 I'd ridden one on the road for a year and on track I had a fully race-kitted ZXR750K that certainly wasn't slow, but it was a pussycat compared with the 10... it took several years to finally get comfortable on it and feel like it was doing what I wanted it to... Now, it's just great 8-) 8-) 8-)

I think he is far to sensible a lad to get the 10 Scotty

On a more serious note Don there are loads of CBR600f out there that seem cheap enough and i have seen a few flying around tracks or maybe an older GSXR750

My only experience of a trackbike was a bad one, i bought a zxr750 for near on £800 and i never did get it to the track. Sold it some months later for around £200.

Hopefully the next trackbike i get will be one i know well ;D

Steely's rock Don (i'm actually getting quite attached to mine!!).....and it's awesome when you go past a 750 or 1000 that's 18 years its junior!!!!! Puts a smile on your face, just make sure it's got spare wheels with wets. I manged to get loads of spares with mine plus fairings etc, i also found a shed load of front and rear sprockets so i'm gonna have a play around with the gearing at Cadwell :P :P

You can end up an anal spanner monkey lurkin in the garage too!!!!

Steely's rock, i'll shift mine next season but it's a damn good foundation to build on before i really know what i want!

Happy hunting Don ;)

Thanks Star, scotty said to me about the GSXR but its a long way to go to collect it. The one in swindon seems ok though im not sure if i would rather get one with more of a standard engine. Thanks for all helping me find one :)

This one seems ok, The guy has listed it as "Trackbike" all one word so it will not show up on a search for "Track Bike" so it might not of had much interest.

Mayby the stabilizers are a good idea after RHRS. :D
I though the whole point of having a track bike was to push your luck and fall off :) how else will i learn where my limits are and my abilty runs out.
