Chaps,
I'm after for a 2012 Project a Fabricator / Welder for a Pannier Rack modification.
I have noticed a lot of people modifying Givi PLX brackets to fit their 250R to then attach Givi V35 Tech Panniers & I want it! - Cheaper than going to get a new practical NC700X next year at least!
I travel to Worcester every weekend, I have the new Givi TW01 (30lt) - TW02 (40lt) - TW03 (35lt) soft luggage on order but in the long, this V35 Pannier idea would be better and because I weigh a mere 55KG I have more than enough weight to play with on the bike!
I've spoken to Givi and many other people that are looking to do it to get some info together but in the mean time as I'm still working on the specs wondered if anyone on here was a Welder / Fabricator and fancied working with me to create this diamond beauty?!
PM if you're of experience and interested or know of V. good welders and fabricators, it'll have to be a very tidy job. ;D I don't want to be riding along and it snaps or breaks and jams the rear wheel, M5 at rush our on a Friday - I'd be minced! 8-)
