Weather warning!

Went out in the van about 9.0am yesterday and a lot of the untreated roads around Frome were really icy. I know I’m stating the obvious but no harm in focusing minds on the weather conditions.

If any of you are out on the bikes today or over the next few weeks take extra care. Remember that the roads may appear ok in places, but patchy ice can catch you out. Ride safe WBs and all bikers.

Swindon was the same, rode to work terrified...Then amused myself watching people wobble all over the car park when they walked to the gym ;D

I rode to Ross-on-Wye on Sunday and I think it must have been the coldest weather I've ridden in. Fortunately I was on main roads which were clear, but I must admit I was a bit worried on the A40 seeing snow on the verges!

Went for a ride on and around the plain on Sunday including roads and it was kin slippery in places, luckily no one fell off on the road. Certainly changes the approach to large puddles when they are covered in ice :)
