Wouldn't suprise me. Ducati have not been the most financially boyant of firms in recent years.

I’m not predicting that this will come to fruition, but who knows what goes on in the murky world of business takeovers/mergers?

I always remember my Dad, who was a keen motorcyclist, telling me how many from the British biking fraternity ridiculed and mocked the Japanese imports back in the late fifties and early sixties. “Nobody will buy these plastic toy bikes.”

The rest is history.
