Calne show - Bowood again

Had this email today from the calne show organisers

Here's the news I hope you have all been waiting for!

We have just been informed that Lord Lansdowne has agreed to a ride-out to Bowood House from 4-6.00pm at the end of the Meet here in Calne. There will refreshments available up there and of course lots of photographs to be taken.

I'm always one of the unfortunate ones who has to be at Calne by 7am to start setting up so by 4pm riding to Bowood is the last thing I feel like doing :P

But for everyone else it rounds off the day nicely!

That's good, last time we went to Bowood after Calne, it rounded off the day nicely!! Wonder whether there will be a band again?

Its not so easy to do all that when the stand has to be packed up and unpacked at the other end Swanny.........its one of the down sides of doing the things we do to keep Wiltshire Bikers afloat and heighten awareness. But, we, the volunteers enjoy it and get a real sense of achievement etc (so please dont think Im moaning because Im not)......I love doing what we do, as does every member of the team (they wouldnt do it otherwise...its not like its a paid job or anything hehe) ;D ;D ;D

When I was a nipper I was full of energy and could easily work hard all day and party hard all night :D

I hope to make it, its the weekend of the Aberdare road races, calne saturday then Aberdare sunday, nice :)
